You may as well know it… I’m a self-confessed financial nerd. Taking care of your investments is what gets me up in the morning, and also what makes sure you sleep well at night!
Even better, I love to see people succeed and get the most out of what life has to offer. This means never having regrets and taking advantage of opportunities as they arise.

Like you, I dream of a simply beautiful future. My dream started way back, during my childhood in Canberra, when my father first introduced me to the world of investing.
It fascinated me, as did economics at university; being able to see the big picture of how money and finance connect the world, and how it influences our lives.
I took my ability with numbers and problem-solving to London and the corporate world and, whilst successful, I realised that there was so much more to it than just looking after investments.

The financial advice industry is beset by problems, often of its own making. Worse, it has become dominated by large institutions and firms that pass off product sales as advice.
The only way I could do what I love and uphold my personal values, was to set up on my own, and in June 2014 I started MORE Wealth Management.
It has been exciting but to me, it’s more than just advice, it’s about making the most of the opportunities presented in life. It's about families, relationships, and aspirations.
what's happening today
Today I live in Sydney with my wife Jacquie and three children, Tahlia, Callan, and Joel. Jacquie started the first swim school on the Balmain peninsula, while my business has taken the next evolutionary step to become Rob Gilmour Wealth Simplicity.
With two businesses and three kids, it’s a challenge, and there is never a dull moment!

I’m a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) and an Accredited Financial Planner (AFP) with the Financial Planning Association (FPA).
I’ve been admitted as a solicitor in NSW, hold a Certificate of Legal Practice and, having completed a Masters of Applied Finance, specialising in investments.
